Meet The Owner
Jessica Days-Jones, born and raised in Syracuse NY. In the year 2000 she moved to Charlotte NC, attending Central Piedmont Community College where she studied Business Administration. In 2005 Jessica attended Dudley Beauty College in Charlotte NC, where she completed and earned her Cosmetology License. In 2019 She moved to Spartanburg SC, where she is the Salon owner of Str8 Pressed Hair Salon. Jessica was also enrolled in Joan Morias Cosmetic Chemistry School. As licensed Cosmetologist, Jessica Days-Jones has 20+ years of experience in the cosmetology field.
Her Inspiration
Jessica is a third-generation Cosmetologist following the steps of her grandmother Dorothy Days a salon owner for over 50 years in Lancaster PA. Her great-grandmother, Dr. Inell Johnson, owner of Inell’s Beauty Academy, a cosmetology school where she taught cosmetology that was located in Montgomery AL. Dr Inell Johnson was also a Civil Rights Activist. Growing up, Jessica learned valuable tips from them. She attributes her business style of caring about the client's expectations to her Grandmothers' and Great-Grandmothers’ teachings. Jessica has a keen eye for healthy hair, and she believes excellent hair care is an important part of self-care. And that is why she created this hair line, to be able to share with the world amazing hair care products, so that you too can have beautiful hair.
Our Products
We use some of the best natural and organic ingredients on the market. Most of our products are Vegan friendly with the exception of a few, which are noted on the website. We take pride in knowing that all of our products are Animal Cruelty free, Paraben, and Phthalate Free.
